About Us
Cut and Ship Fabrics was established in 2022 by husband and wife, Steve and KC.
KC started quilting with her Aunt Marilyn in North Carolina late in October of 2018. After lots of practice quilts she took a class to learn paper piecing with Judy Niemeyer techniques. After completing her Judy Niemeyer patterns she always had them custom long armed. KC finally convinced her husband to entertain the idea of a longarm in their home. In March 2021 she purchased her longarm machine from Elizabeth in PA.
In March 2022, Donna Clark, KC's Mom, convinced her to purchase the remaining inventory from a quilt shop closing in NJ. They started with 1,700 bolts and 17,754 yards of fabric for sale and today they have much more! Steve and KC would love to have you come in and see their selection of fabrics and check out their Bernina Q24 Longarm Machine with Q Matics!
KC is a proud member of the Helping Hands Quilt Guild at the Wyoming United Methodist Church in Dover.
KC loves to help out long arming quilts for Quilts of Valor in her free time. If you would like to donate to the Quilts of Valor, click this link. They accept 100 % cotton quilting weight fabric donations, to find out more, click this link. Remember Quilts = Healing.
KC is originally from New Jersey. She went to collage at the University of Arizona in Tucson for her Bachelor of Science in
Urban & Regional Development. After collage she helped her father, Larry Clark, improved his commercial asphalt paving company. She decided to go back to school at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ for an Executive Masters of Business Administration and a Masters in Management of Technology. After graduation in May of 2017 she drove across the country with Steve due to the Airforce relocating them for 4 years at McCord Airforce Base in Lacey, Washington.
Steve was a flight instructor and was critical to the education of new airman entering the C-17 career field.
Steve and KC are currently stationed in Dover, Delaware.
KC and her family built a new self storage facility in Port St Joe Florida called Sunny Day Self Storage!
KC and Steve just had their daughter in October of 2023, her name is Bailey and they cannot wait for her to meet all her quilting friends who stop by to visit!
