Quilting Cotton Fabric
Our quilting cotton is a high-quality, 100% cotton fabric that’s tightly woven, soft to the touch, and built to last. It features a smooth finish and excellent structure, making it ideal for piecing quilts, sewing garments, crafting accessories, and even light home décor projects. With a standard weight of around 4.5–5.5 oz per square yard, quilting cotton is breathable, easy to sew with, and holds its shape beautifully through washing and wear.
Whether you’re hand-stitching or using a machine, this fabric offers crisp, clean results and vibrant prints that stay true over time.
Fabric Cuts & Yardage Information
We cut fabric continuously straight from the bolt—except for fat quarters, which are pre-cut. To order a longer continuous piece, simply increase the quantity of the length you choose.
Fabric added to your cart multiple times will also be combined into one continuous cut (again, excluding fat quarters).
For example:
- 5/8 Yard, Quantity 2 = 1.25 Yards
- 3/4 Yard, Quantity 2 = 1.5 Yards
- 7/8 Yard, Quantity 2 = 1.75 Yards
- 1 Yard, Quantity 2 = 2 Yards
- 1 Yard, Quantity 2 + 1/2 Yard, Quantity 1 = 2.5 Yards
Standard Cut Dimensions:
- Fat Quarter: 18" L × 21.5" W (pre-cut, not continuous)
- 1/8 Yard: 4.5" L × 43/44" W
- 1/4 Yard: 9" L × 43/44" W
- 3/8 Yard: 13.5" L × 43/44" W
- 1/2 Yard: 18" L × 43/44" W
- 5/8 Yard: 22.5" L × 43/44" W
- 3/4 Yard: 27" L × 43/44" W
- 7/8 Yard: 31.5" L × 43/44" W
- 1 Yard: 36" L × 43/44" W

The 2025 All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine is your guide to all things about the event. In addition, you will find patterns, articles and resources for sewing and quilting. Your magazine will be a great reference even after the Shop Hop has ended. Use it as inspiration for a new project, or to find a quilt shop as you meander through Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Your magazine will include an official Passport. Each person in your party will need a Passport in order to register for prizes.
